Mission Statement
The Irish Institute of Training & Development's Mission is
1. To ensure (guarantee) best practice in training and
development in Ireland by:
- Identifying, implementing and monitoring international standards
- Researching and bench-marking on a continuous basis
- Providing accredited professional education in training and development
- Influencing key stakeholders/policy makers.
2. To support members by:
- Providing a basis for member certification in a way that enhances continuing professional development and thus employment opportunities
- Organising members into active networks, regionally and nationally in a way that achieves the goals of the Institute and the needs of the members
